Lucinda Smith currently holds the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS) titles from the Society of Wine Educators. She is a certificate holder from the Sommelier Society of Washington, DC, and has served as a judge in prestigious wine competitions, such as the Virginia Governor’s Cup, Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition and the Loudon Wine Awards. Currently, Smith consults for the hospitality industry integrating technology needs and training on service standards, as well as representing several Virginia wineries in selling their wines to both restaurant and retail licensees.
