Dave McIntyre has been The Washington Post’s wine columnist since October 2008. His writings have appeared in several other publications, including Wine Enthusiast magazine and the San Francisco Chronicle, as well as his award-winning blog, Dave McIntyre’s WineLine, created in 1999. Meininger’s Wine Business International and Worth magazines named him among the most influential wine writers in the United States. He was a co-founder of Drink Local Wine, the first “locapour” movement promoting the growth of regional wine throughout the United States. He is also a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers.
